Cost: $30 per person
Cabins
- Available: 12
- Each sleep: 4 individuals in two bunk beds, therefore, cabins will be assigned to make maximum use of available beds
- No Bathrooms or Kitchens inside cabins
- Table and Power (including a table outside)
- Heater (If temperature is below 45 degrees, heater will not come on – can bring own heater)
- Bring your own linens or sleeping bags
- Cabins must be cleaned prior to departure (Otherwise cost Church $25 extra per cabin)
- No fuels in Cabins
- One tent or popup trailer can be placed on each Cabin site to sleep 4 individuals max
- Check in time: 3 PM, Check out time: 11 AM
- Two vehicles maximum at Cabin site
Campsites
- Available: 15
- Each allows two tents or a tent and a popup camper
- 8 individuals allowed at campsite max
- Water at each campsite – no power
- Check in time: 2 PM, Check out time: 2 PM
- Two vehicles maximum at campsite
- Gas Lanterns needed
- For those not familiar with campsite setup, there will be several individuals that can help. See
Delmar Hager or Bob Stokes or one of Church Boy Scouts
- We will have more than enough tents for those wishing to “camp-out”. Attendees may pre-arrange this with persons having tents.
Bathrooms
There are bathroom/showers located close to the cabins and campsites
Meals
- Attendees will be divided into groups of 8 to 12 and assigned to a cabin location for all meals
and local activities (campfires, etc.)
- All paper products and utensils will be provided (no ice or coolers will be provided)
- Friday Night
Provided by Church – One-pot meal (Chill) with crackers, water, lemonade, coffee, hot
cocoa, chips, and prepackaged desserts)
- Saturday Breakfast and Lunch
Bring your own. Note: limited cooking facilities will be available for these meals. No
pots and pans will be available. Therefore, if you wish to have hot servings for these
meals, please bring your own cooking pans, stoves, and gas.
Program
Saturday Night starting at 8 PM at the Inks Lake Amphitheater. After the program presentation,
attendees can resume fellowship at individual campfires at assigned cabin locations.
Activities
- Friday – Golf (being organized by separate signup sheet)
We are encouraging men of the church to take advantage of the camping the week before
the retreat – families can camp the week before and then the men can attend the
retreat for Friday and Saturday.
- Saturday -canoeing, paddleboats, fishing, hiking
Group Needs – (Please signup at the info desk to bring/provide these items)
1. 12 cook stoves with or without gas
2. Cook stove table supports if you have them
3. Tents (sleep 1, 2, 4, 6,8)
4. Table tarps
5. Gas Lanterns
6. 12 Cooks for Friday Night to pre-prepare chill and deliver to camp (power available at cabins for those using crock pots)
7. Firewood (Need enough for potentially 12 campfires – one at each cabin)
Individual Needs
1. Linens (sheets, pillow, sleeping bag, etc.) for beds regardless if staying in cabin or campsite
2. Tent if you have one
3. Chairs for each individual attending
